Capstone Project: Senior Studio
Every Graphic Design major at UMass Lowell is required to research, build, and design their own project within a year to complete their degree. My project, coupled, is an interactive exhibit that explores the parallels between design and sport. Being able to develop a concept without restrictions was both a privilege and a challenge that I’ve learned a lot from. I created a 145 page book, website, posters, informational video, and more.

I wanted the final installation to not just show my work, but be a part of it. Therefore, I created a theoretically interactive exhibit where viewers can stand on track lanes and measure themselves against the hoop.
Bringing the viewer's attention to similarities in typography.
Using dimensions to show the importance of them in both design and sport.
It was important for me to utilize the space as it encompasses the goal of my project.
